About the event
Session Description—Parties involved in a litigation will often bring in a person to explain technical details to a judge and jury. That expert witness may be asked to opine on what occurred. The expert witness is not involved in the events of the case as opposed to a fact witness who, either from participation or direct observation, will testify on the facts of the case.
An expert must be knowledgeable but even more important is to be able to explain often complex topics to people.
This talk will describe how you can evolve your career to become a technical expert who can investigate the evidence in a case and produce a written report with an opinion on what actually occurred.
